Endowed Professorship in the Psychology of Peace and Violence Program
The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is inviting applications for an endowed professorship in the Psychology of Peace and Violence Program, starting in Fall 2020.  
 
Ideal candidates would be at the full level, with demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: peace psychology, psychology of group relations, conflict resolution, reconciliation and peace building, and/or other relevant topics. Candidates should expect to become an integral part of the established concentration in the Psychology of Peace and Violence Program that resides within the Social Psychology Program, and they should be interested in understanding conflict in real world settings as well as the implications of research findings for policy and application.

Requirements Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Social Psychology or closely related field, a highly active and visible research program with an outstanding record of empirical research and academic scholarship, and a history of extramural funding.
