Faculty Diversity Postdoc
I am pleased to share with you a call for applications for the University of Missouri’s <strong>Preparing Future Faculty – Faculty Diversity (PFFFD) Postdoctoral Program. </strong>The PFFFD program is designed to develop scholars for tenure-track faculty positions at the University of Missouri and beyond. This program is a campus-wide effort; the <strong>Department of Psychological Sciences </strong>is well-positioned to recruit and hire one of these postdoctoral positions. The department is specifically focused on attracting a scholar in <strong>social/personality</strong>. Area of scholarship within social/personality is open and may include (but is not limited to) health disparities or other disparities, diversity science, intergroup relations, addictions, or social neuroscience. The department has 39 faculty and typically 7 or 8 postdoctoral scholars. The department’s faculty has a strong culture of mentoring and supporting their postdoctoral scholars and assistant faculty.<br />

Requirements |
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in any area of Psychology, or be on track to have their Ph.D. conferred prior to August, 2022. Applicants should demonstrate how they can contribute to faculty diversity, such as through membership in a group that is historically underrepresented or through other training and experience. Postdoctoral positions are typically for two years and provide research, teaching, and professional development opportunities. |
