Tenure-track assistant professor in Social Psychology
The Department of Psychology at Florida State University seeks to hire a tenure-track assistant professor in Social Psychology, with a start date for August 2022. Responsibilities will include teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, conducting and publishing research in social psychology, and providing service to the department through work on committees.<br />

Our department has a vibrant faculty, outstanding resources, a favorable teaching load, and a collegial atmosphere. Candidates with lines of research in any area of Social Psychology are encouraged to apply (especially those whose work connects to our area’s broad focus on motivated social cognition). Requirements |
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or the highest degree appropriate from an accredited institution in Social Psychology or a related field. In addition, candidates must have a strong research program with a high likelihood of obtaining extramural funding and the potential for excellent teaching and mentoring of diverse student populations. |
