Assistant Professor of Psychology(Social)/Dale J. Weary Faculty Fellow
The University of Kansas (KU) seeks an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology, with a focus on Social Psychology, to begin August 18, 2024. This is a titled Assistant Professorship (the Dale J. Weary Faculty Fellow), which provides extended research support through pre-tenure years. We seek a candidate whose research program would complement or enhance current strengths of the KU social psychology program in intergroup relations, motivation and emotion, personal relationships, and cultural psychology. The associated Dale J. Weary Faculty Fellowship provides additional significant research support during the pre-tenure years.

| Requirements |
- A Ph.D. in Psychology from a social psychology program or closely related area.
- Record of scholarly achievement with clear evidence of an ongoing research program.
- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate level and interest in teaching and mentoring at the graduate level.
- Commitment to enhancing and promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
This is a 40% research, 40% teaching, 20% service position. |
