Assistant Professor, Social Psychology
The Department of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking to fill a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Social Psychology, pending budgetary approval. Research specialization is open but should complement and extend existing strengths in the program. Substantive areas of potential interest include (but are not limited to) intergroup relations, social cognition, environmental sustainability, personality and social processes, cultural psychology, and social influence. We also welcome candidates whose scholarly interests bridge to other programs in our department. Candidates must have a strong commitment to research, undergraduate teaching, graduate training, and equity and diversity.
The review of applications will begin immediately and will close on October 15, 2023. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field by the start date of the position (September 1, 2024).
